Ricardo Kirschbaum

Ricardo, born 1948, is the General Editor of Clarín. He began his career working for El Pueblo newspaper. He joined Clarín in 1976 as a collaborator in the politics section of the newspaper and then became Deputy Editor. He was also a political columnist of Clarín for the Sunday edition. In 1984 he won the Ortega y Gasset prize in recognition of his research work on the Falkland War/La Guerra de las Malvinas. He was also a Board Member of the World Editors Forum. Kirschbaum is also member of the National Academy of Journalism. Ricardo is the current President of the Global Editors Network.
